Description
This is the best way to discover the gastronomy of Terceira Island in one day. Embark with us on a gastronomic journey in a different way. (minibus/minivan)
The tour starts at 9:30 am at Alto das Covas (meeting point) in Angra do Heroísmo and should end around 5:30 pm passing by:
- We start with a visit to the local coffee plantation, tasting coffee, tea and liqueurs;
- In Vila de São Mateus, visit the local fish market;
- Seafood tasting in a local restaurant, Lapas and Cracas;
- Cinco Ribeiras, tasting the 5 types of cheese made here;
- Serreta, stop for a typical island lunch where the main dish is the famous regional Alcatra in a family atmosphere in a typical house;
- After lunch we go to the parish of Biscoitos to visit the natural swimming pools area;
- Visit to a local winery to understand how wine is made in these parts and, of course, wine and liquor tasting;
- With your belly full, you still have to taste the freshness of the local ice cream with the possibility of seeing the factory.

- *Pick up and drop off at hotels and accommodation near the center of Angra do Heroísmo. (Outside this area, it is possible to do so but an extra fee of €30 applies);

- Minimum of two people to take the tour;
- Minimum 5 people to take the open-top mini bus tour, otherwise it will be done in a minivan;
